States cancel/postpone Class 10 and 12 board exams

CBSE, followed by ICSE has cancelled Std 10 board exams and postponed Std 12 board exams. States of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and others have followed suit. The current status:
CBSE: Class 10 exams have been cancelled and students will be promoted on the basis of an internal assessment. Class 12 exams have been postponed till May 30, the revised exam schedule will be announced on June 1
CISCE: Class 10 exams have been cancelled and students will be promoted on the basis of an internal assessment. Class 12 exams have been postponed
Maharashtra: Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams have been postponed probably to June and May, respectively
Uttar Pradesh: Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams have been postponed
Haryana: Class 10 exams have been cancelled and students will be promoted on the basis of an internal assessment. Class 12 exams have been postponed
Tamil Nadu: Class 10 exams have been cancelled. Class 12 exams have been postponed and currently planned from May 5 to 31
Punjab: Class 10 exams have been cancelled, Class 12 exams have been postponed
Himachal Pradesh: Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams have been postponed
Rajasthan: Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams have been postponed. Students of class 8, 9 and 11 will be promoted without exams, as per the decision.
Madhya Pradesh: Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams have been postponed
