CBSE releases evaluation criteria for Class 10 and Class 12 in lieu of cancelled Boards
Class 10 CBSE students will be evaluated on the basis of marks obtained in the tests and exams held during the academic year.
CBSE Class 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021 for result calculation has been submitted to the Supreme Court. In the detailed criteria as shared by the CBSE for Std 12:
40% weightage to be given to Class 12 marks of Unit Test/Mid-Term/Pre-Board Exam.
30% weightage to be given to Class 11 marks based on theory component of final exam.
30% weightage to be given to Class 10 marks based on average theory component of best three performing subjects out of main 5 subjects.
The Supreme Court accepted the proposal submitted by CBSE for the calculation of marks The CBSE Class 12 and 10 Result 2021 would be released by July 31 and schools need to submit the marks by July 15. Moderation of marks would also be done based on historical data of the school. CBSE students who are not satisfied with the evaluation formula will be given an opportunity to give examination when the Covid-19 situation eases, tentatively between Aug 15-Sep 15.
Students can check their CBSE Class 10 and 12 results when they are announced on cbseresults.nic.in, results.gov.in or DigiLocker
