CBSE likely to withhold result of schools who have not submitted Class 10 marks

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare Class 10 Results for 2021 soon. 24th July was the deadline for schools to complete final submission after which they will get finalized by board, and results would be declared online on cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in. It is being suggested that the board might withhold the results of schools that have not yet submitted marks and release the result for the remaining.

Schools were asked to submit final marks to the board after they were asked to revise. As many as 500 schools (possibly more) were again asked on July 23 to moderate the results as the marks awarded was still seen in the higher spectrum . The board had pointed out that many schools had clustered their marks in the top range, which in turn skewed the overall result. CBSE, in its official circular to schools, asked them to ensure that marks of students are evenly distributed in the range of 70-80 instead of clustering between 77-80.
