CBSE likely to restore single board exams for 2023, reduced syllabus to continue

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is to restore the one exam paper format for Board Exams 2023. Syllabus for Class 10 and 12 was reduced by CBSE in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This reduced syllabus could be continued next year as well. In 2021, CBSE came up with the policy of bifurcating the academic session in two terms. The board announced different scenarios for holding board exams and what format – all in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic and schools closing. However, all this was announced as a ‘one-time measure.’
